Myles and Trena both attended Olds College and achieved diplomas in Agriculture Business.
Trena then went on to the University of Saskatchewan, College of Agriculture to complete her degree in Agriculture and Myles went to the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology to complete a diploma in Welding Engineering Technology.
Myles and Trena have completed the Canadian Total Excellence in Agricultural Management (CTEAM) program from the George Morris Centre. Since then the program has been taken on by a private organization Agri-Food Management Excellence (AME). Myles has also completed the Commodity Risk Management Course offered by AME. They are currently active members of an agricultural peer-group, which is organized by Backswath Management Inc.
